Born in Gengenbach, Germany and raised in the Kinzigtal Valley, Julian Weisser began his career at the age of 18 as a freelance Cameraman for a local TV station. 
In 2017, he commenced his media studies in Offenburg, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. During his studies, he worked at SWR in Baden-Baden as an assistant director on the sets of "Tatort" and "Die Fallers".
Following his graduation, Julian Weisser worked as a cameraman for private television networks, contributing to programs such as "Galileo" (ProSieben) and "Abenteuer Leben" (Kabel1), as well as independent projects including music videos and commercials.
In 2021, he worked at ARRI Media (now The Playmaker/Pharos The Postgroup) in Munich. Later that same year, Julian Weisser was accepted into the Cinematography program at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF).
Julian Weisser’s films have been showcased at film festivals around the world and have received various awards from festival juries, including:
